Our Client is looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that their standards and procedures are maintained
You will report to the General Manager, and will be responsible for leading quality management system targets and objectives and continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing and installation operations.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong leadership qualities and have an understanding of the commercial world. This is a very fast paced environment so you will need to be a good all round multi tasker who can think on your feet and hit the ground running.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Own transport is essential.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a Quality based role.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in change management.
* Experience in a multi-site role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Computer literate, including use of reporting packages.
* Ability to identify needs, prioritise workloads, set achievable targets, evaluate progress and to meet deadlines.
* Ability to communicate and present at senior management level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.
* Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance.
* Managing a team of QC technicians and coordinators.
* Budget management and producing weekly and monthly reports.
* Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
* Responsible for driving Quality Trainings, Quality Assessments and Validations.
* Act as quality point of contact for all improvement project.
* Support the introduction of new products, suppliers and raw materials, and changes to manufacturing and installation processes.
* Implementation of reporting database/software.
* Working closely with the Health and Safety manager to ensure Safety and Quality standards are maintained.
Benefits:
* Annual Salary £45,000 – £50,000.
* Monthly paid performance related bonus (£5,000 per annum).
* Permanent full-time position – 40 hours per week, 9-5pm Monday to Friday, half hour paid lunch break.
