About your role
Part of the Printing Solutions Division (PSD), reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing and Process coordinator will support the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) region and the EMEA Procurement Team in delivering against their organisational goals and metrics. This role is responsible for co-ordinating both purchasing and logistics functions with the Purchasing, Logistics and Warehouse Teams to deliver outstanding quality of external and internal customer service and delivery performance. This role-plays a key part in our success promoting collaboration, constant effort to meet our business objectives and increase customer satisfaction. The candidate will require strong communication skills and be able to work within a cross-functional team, ability to articulate and drive prioritization of Procurement requirements, strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.
Your responsibilities will include
* Planning, Forecasting and purchasing in order to manage inventory levels and maximize our service to the customer accordingly to the service KPI
* Hitting inventory level and working capital targets
* Planning and placing orders in a timely manner with both intercompany and third party suppliers,
* Liaising with the trade and product compliance team to ensure all import requirements are covered
* Coordinate and track shipments to ensure deliveries arrive according to schedule
* Assisting in hitting working capital target by achieving target stock levels, inventory turns and service levels
* Continuously improving performance standards and processes, in conjunction with the Purchasing Manager
* Manage all purchased material rejects and credits with suppliers
* Maintain files and records of material purchases and deliveries
* Check and approve invoices for all purchase orders placed
* Supporting the sales and customer service teams with technical information and product supply
* Develop and share SOP & Best Practice to EMEA PSD Team.
* Maintain system data to ensure accurate product records
* Liaise with Logistics suppliers to ensure KPI’s are met
* Utilise Lean (ELS) tools to continuously improve the end to end process of the purchasing function
