Production Operative – Sunday Shift Only

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our new factory located in Aylesbury. You will be working as part of our Production team to help produce a range of delicious products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and other food to go products.

Weekend only work: Sunday Shift (Apply online only). Overtime available on request.

Production Operatives will star on an hourly rate of pay of £9.25 per hour. This will increase on successful completion of your probationary period.

Depending on your skills and experience you may be employed on a higher grade, particularly if you have a strong food background or factory experience – this will be discussed at the interview stage.

Duties include:

* Help to make and pack our delicious products, which could include preparing/ making our products – handling fresh produce, including meat.

* You will need to ensure that each product meets the customer specification – eye for detail is important

No matter what task you are doing, there is always a focus on safety, quality and hygiene to ensure our customers receive the best possible products.

This role of Production Operative will involve standing for long periods and working in cold temperatures (8-10 degrees). It may also include will also repeat lifting and carrying ingredients and products.

* Experience required

* Good level of English & Maths

* Ideally experience in a food manufacturing environment, but this is not mandatory

* Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene – training provided
