This is an opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next steps in their Payroll career by progressing to a Payroll Manager within a well established organisation in Milton Keynes. You will be part of a vibrant team and supporting the Director of Payroll.

Description

The successful Payroll Manager:

– Will oversee the payroll supervisors and ensure all projects and deadlines are met.

– Supporting the team using your previous knowledge and experience

– Run a portfolio of Client payrolls including new client set ups

– To chair regular meetings with supervisors and teams

– Assist with management of fee income and budget

– Monitor KPI's

– To keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance

– To support the Payroll director in developing the National Business

– To ensure the firms policies and processes are followed by your team in order to achieve a good grade in the QCR review.

– Control the debt percentage of teams client base

Profile

The successful Payroll Manager:

– Lead by example acting as a role model to the team

– Ability to identify where processes can be made more efficient

– Have experience in running multiple payrolls

– Experience working in an Accountancy Bureau Payroll or Bureau Payroll

– Extensive knowledge of Payrite and Paycircle software

– Experience in leading a team and conducting appraisals

– Open to additional training.
