Extrastaff are recruiting Parcel Sorters for a company based just Junction 13 of M1 with immediate starts available.

These roles can lead to full-time employment and is suited for someone looking for a long term placement.

About the role:

You will join a team that processes a large volume of parcels. Shifts start around 5pm finishing up to 3am, Monday to Friday. This is a fast paced role with the Hib processing 10s of thousands of parcel per shift. Parcels may weigh up to 20kg so heavy lifting is involved.

You will work as part of a team to scan parcels efficiently using Hand-Held Terminals and sort them into route numbers from a conveyor. You will also be required to load and unload vehicles so heavy lifting is involved.

Flexibility is crucial for this role as the shift start times will move depending on parcel volume. The shifts can last between 6-12 hours.
