Operations and Logistics Executive

Flackwell Heath

Permanent

Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm

Opportunity:

A great opportunity for someone with a background in operations/logistics to join a growing Marketing Agency. You will be organising shipments in and out of the warehouse and be involved in consumer facing customer service. Your main focus will be to ensure all orders are despatched and delivered to clients.

Responsibilities:

To ensure that logistics transport and delivery solutions are provided to meet with targets set by the business by driving strategic initiatives
To develop and provide accurate reporting for all shipments.
To assist in managing our customer service platform to keep clients updated on orders, this will be mainly for B2C clients.
Ensuring the business is compliant with regulations relevant to Logistics
To ensure accurate stock reporting is carried out at all locations.
To develop excellent working relationships with our global 3PL's

The successful candidate will have/be:

Excellent communication skills – you will be liaising with a variety of people
Clarity in communication, as major problems could arise through inaccuracies
Good organisational and planning skills
Good geographical knowledge
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Problem-solving ability, particularly when working under pressure
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience working in customer service or Operations, with experience of working with international freight forwarders, couriers and 3PL partners, plus a good understanding of logistics and e-commerce
