CSP Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a fast paced Tray Wash company based in Milton Keynes as an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary on offer to the ideal candidate.

The working shift pattern is 3 on/3 off on a 12 hour shift pattern of Days 6am-6pm & Nights of 6pm-6am on a rotation basis.

This would be an ideal position for someone who has experience of working within a Production/Warehouse/Manufacturing environment and you will need to be 60/40 Electrical bias.

Main responsibilities for the Multi Skilled Engineer:

* Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be expected to assist in the maintenance of the site, tray wash machines and associated equipment.

* Respond to breakdowns of equipment to maintain the efficiency of the operation and identify problem areas and implement improvements

* Check stocks and assist in the order the relevant parts/materials for maintenance and repair work to be carried out.

* Assist with the PPM and adhere to schedules to minimise the downtime of the machinery

* Complete all required paperwork required within engineering.

Knowledge & experience for the Multi Skilled Engineer:

* This position is both Mechanical & Electrical, however if you have an Electrical bias that would be beneficial

* Time served apprenticeship in either a mechanical or electrical discipline would be an advantage

* MUST have worked in a FMCG/manufacturing/warehousing environment (rather than CNC engineering) and be committed to working as part of an existing team.

* Basic welding skills would be beneficial (and if you have a knowledge of PLCs, that would be even better)
