Pod Talent are thrilled to be working with an established, international construction materials manufacturer who are looking for a Materials Planner to join their team in Milton Keynes.

You will be using the most advanced S&OP and supply planning systems to plan inbound goods for 3rd party suppliers and manufacturers to ensure inventory and demand targets are met.

This is a unique opportunity for a junior planner to join an industry with unrivalled growth and reap the rewards of advanced processes and international supply chains.

Responsibilities

As Materials Planner, your key responsibilities include:

Calculating quantities of goods needed to consistently achieve inventory targets

Raising POs to a range of international suppliers

Working with inbound and logistics teams to ensure on time delivery in full (OTIF)

Supporting S&OP with accurate reporting and master data management

Requirements

The most important things I am looking for…

1-2 years' experience in a supply chain planning role in FMCG or materials

Experiencing using SAP ERP

Knowledge of S&OP supply chain process

Analytical mindset and ability to perform in-depth root cause analysis

Advanced Excel skills

Great professional communication
