Job Purpose:
To strategically produce, implement and measure all wide-scale, multi-media marketing campaigns intended to change awareness, attitudes and behaviour using best practice planning, implementation and evaluation.
Key Accountabilities:
Support the Communications function leadership team by helping to shape marketing activities and strategies.
Manage all corporate marketing activities in a well planned, open and consistent manner based on sound data and insights. Work closely with key internal stakeholders from across Network Rail and Communications in delivering activities to time and to budget at all stages of each campaign.
Understand all relevant brand policies and guidelines with a view to achieving consistent tone, style and design across all Network Rail's marketing material.
Closely manage external suppliers on all projects. Help select appropriate suppliers for activities. Set up ways of working. Take control of day-to-day communications and resolve issues such as changes to project scope, invoicing, delivery and quality control.
Contribute to the management information needs of the Head of Marketing by providing up-to-date reports of projects and other relevant activities, through appropriate channels.
Contribute to marketing project management processes, procedures and operational rules with the aim of delivering outstanding marketing activities and building a professional, well-regarded marketing team.Your skills will include:
Essential
Hands-on marketing management experience, gained in an agency and/or client-side position
Social media and web marketing campaign management experience
Brand management experience
Campaign management expertise, including media buying
Excellent written English
Very good inter-personal skills
Very good presentation skillsDesirable
Educated to degree level
Professional marketing qualification
Brand development experience
Public awareness and/or advertising campaign management experience
