Our client is one of the fastest growing Home Insurance providers in the UK. With a headcount of over 350 experts across three sites.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Specialist

What you will be doing

As an L&D specialist you will be given ownership and autonomy to deliver objectives, projects and programmes.

Analyse

• You will be required to interpret various sources of information within the business to identify needs.

• This may include but is not limited to QA forum outputs, focus groups, mystery shopper outcomes, call listening, departmental or business specific reports, and TM or HOD feedback.

Design

• Design blended learning materials in alignment with identified needs.

• Establish the correct blend of online elements, classroom elements and pre- or post- classroom components, to ensure that the learning experience is as effective as possible.

• Gain design feedback and sign-off from relevant subject matter experts and stakeholders.

Develop

• Ensure the materials are produced in line with the agreed design.

• Manage the production of content in time with agreed deadlines.

• Deliver a professional and engaging look and feel (gaining input from key stakeholders

Implement

• This may include but is not limited to:

o Delivering structured training sessions in the classroom/ virtual environment.

o Coach side by side (using the GROW and other up to date coaching techniques)

o Maintain in full up to date records associated with the solution

Evaluate

• You will also be responsible for gaining feedback on the solutions you have implemented; ideally using online tools and considering the relevant timeframes (and relevant levels as defined by the Kirkpatrick model).

Essential Skills

It is a must have to have experience in Design and Delivery

• Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills, within Sales and Management

• Broad learning materials design experience that features both online learning – non facilitated (eLearning) and facilitated online (webinars) and facilitated classroom-based learning sessions
