Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Landscape Aftercare Manager based in Bedfordshire for a well-established horticultural company. They are keen to find someone who has extensive experience within the landscaping and horticultural sector and has a background in garden maintenance. The client is ideally looking for someone who can manage the aftercare and horticultural department & team and is happy to work on a variety of projects. There will be requirements to travel around the London & Home Counties area.

The role…

As the Landscape Aftercare Manager your role will involve the following important duties:

* Be in charge of managing the day to day running of the aftercare business.

* Be able to effectively meet both profit and revenue targets whilst maintaining high customer & client satisfaction.

* Be able to manage the organisation of staff rota's and effectively manage the aftercare team.

* Order any required materials needed for staff or clients.

* Meeting with clients, visiting sites, and putting together quotations for additional services.

The experience required…

As a successful Landscape Aftercare Manager, you will have the following:

* You’ll have at least 5 years experience in garden aftercare, with at least 3 of those in a team leader or foreman role.

* You’ll have a good financial understanding, commercial experience and successful experience in recruiting staff.

* You’ll have excellent horticultural knowledge – including plant physiology and problems, pests, diseases and their solutions, relevant horticultural machinery, as well as a working knowledge of irrigation systems.

* Have at least a level 3 Horticultural qualification or equivalent

* PA1 & PA6 Certification

* Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle.

Salary: £36,000 – £44,000
Location: Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday – Friday
