Inventory Manager

Milton Keynes

Permanent and Full Time

£35,000 to £37,000 DOE

My highly successful international client is looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join their Warehouse team. As the Inventory Manager you would be overseeing the control of inventory within the company network and be responsible for all stock. You will be initiating and investigating discrepancies within inventory levels and ensuring processes are up to date and adhered to.

Key Activities

Be Responsible for all stock across the network
Police the inventory and warehouse operational teams processing
Oversees team of Warehouse Special Projects team of Stock Interrogation Operators and Stock Auditors
Maintain the warehouse's inventory organisation, layout and design in a way that will ensure maximum space utilisation
Control and verify the inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts and reconciliation
Control the flow of stock between multiple warehouses based on demand
Manage the back order stock levels within the business and work with Customer Services to release orders
Organise and manage the stock takes for both machines and spares ensuring appropriate investigations prior to any adjustments
Prepare reports and advise management on strategies to reduce cost and improve procedures
Maintain accurate inventory levels that includes detailed information on available stockWe are looking for someone with:

Experience of a previous similar role
Great communication skills
Ability to work under pressureRole Advertised: 1st October 2021
