International Business Support Executive

Milton Keynes

£25,000 + OTE

We are recruiting for an innovative and determined individual to join a highly successful manufacturing company within the foodservice and hospitality industry. Our client is investing into their international team to develop international business growth. The key responsibility for this role is to conduct research and analysis to identify and define audience and client groups and potential overseas partners whilst supporting the International Business Executive.

The role would suit someone with an understanding of the hospitality and foodservice industry, working closely with distribution and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

* Research potential leads and keeping up to date with developments within the industry

* Contact potential clients via email mainly, and some phone

* Conduct research to identify new international business development opportunities in international markets

* Be active, chasing feedback from the sales teams around leads you have provided

* Build an international network

* Execute an action plan for each account and a follow-up approach on inbound requests

* Set/agree monthly/weekly targets and campaigns to collaboratively deliver commercial programmes

Skills and Experience

* Knowledge of hospitality and foodservice industry would be advantageous

* Cultural sensitivity – overseas experience essential

* Excellent written and spoken English

* Knowledge of another language is desirable

* Organised, and likes a project

* Quality and attention to detail

* Knowledge of business systems – (Microsoft, CRM, LinkedIn etc.)

* Experience and/or ability to learn about technical products and applications
