HGV Mechanic required. Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading Transport & Plant Hire company based within the Bedfordshire and surround area actively seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their successful team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven and experienced HGV Mechanic to join a leading and highly regarded Plant Hire firm on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client work in multiple sectors with complete UK wide coverage. Throughout the Covid pandemic, our client have won and extended major contracts. Due to this, they now require skilled staff in their Bedfordshire location.

HGV Mechanic Overview

Within this role you will manage and maintain the companies mixed and specialist fleet. You will cover complete HGV Fitting duties including servicing, break testing, MOT's, repairs, welding & fabrication work.

You will receive specialist on the job training and be rewarded with excellent pay and additional benefits.

HGV Mechanic Position Requirements

Relevant Engineering qualifications – Essential
Proven experience working on HGV's
Clean UK driving licence
Plant / Quarry Experience – Desirable
Experience in Servicing & MOT's of HGV vehicles
Knowledge of Scania or DAF vehicles is desirable
Flexible working approach – EssentialHGV Mechanic Position Remuneration

Salary DOE – £15 – 18 per hr
Monday – Friday (flexible working hours to suit you)
