Role: HGV Driver Class 2

Location: Milton Keynes

Package: £27,000 – £30,000 + overtime

Working week: Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours

We're recruiting an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for a National Plant Hire company based out of their depot in Milton Keynes.

On a day-to-day basis you will be required to travel regularly to different locations being responsible for the delivery and collection of plant hire and construction tools and machinery.

As the public face of the business you will be well presented, communicate professionally with customers on site and promote the positive image of the business.

You may be required to demonstrate the operation of the equipment operation to the customer and as such an IPAF Operators Licence is preferred although not essential.

You'll also complete all related administration and any relevant checks when delivering and collecting equipment and be responsible for ensuring that all Company vehicles are driven safely, professionally and within the law at all times.

A safety first approach and compliance with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures is essential.

Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:

Class 2 Low Loader experienced preferred
Previous Plant Hire experience preferred
Ideally with an IPAF Operators licence
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and represent the company in a positive. professional and friendly manner
You will be a fully competent driver with a clean driving licence
