We're currently seeking a Milton Keynes -based Health & Safety Advisor to work within a high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme. This is a fulltime opportunity to start as soon as possible, on a Fixed Term Contract until 30th September 2021, paying circa £35,000 pro rata plus benefits.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and implement new incident reporting and auditing software
Create and deliver interactive training content
Design and implement audit programme (via software system)
Carry out statistical analysis, create dashboards and reports for EMT
Provide support and advice for Core business projects
Liaise with regulatory bodies where required
Support site Health and Safety Representatives
Support the development of Culture Change through positive engagement / coaching
Assisting with investigating accidents and incidents to determine their causes and make appropriate recommendations for improvements and preventative measures

In order to be successful, you'll need the following experience, skills and qualifications:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Creating interactive H&S training content
Experience of implementing Incident Reporting / H&S software
NEBOSH General Certificate
Confident communicator – works well across all departmentDESIRABLE CRITERIA

Experience of implementing software systems
Experience of creating and delivering H&S training content
Lab experience or solid understanding of biosciences
