Head of Operations
Salary – £70,000 – £80,000
Benefits – Car Allowance (5-6k), Bonus (up to 30%)
Location: East of England (Candidate must be prepared to travel across the region)

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leading position within our LPG distribution operation in the UK. As the Head of Operations you would be responsible for delivering excellence in business performance across 10 depots in the East of England region. You will be intrumental in driving customer service whilst improving operational efficiency, safety and continuous improvement. While effective management skills and the ability to manage a similar operation are a given, interested candidates must have experience of managing and implementing process safety principles.

What do we need from you?

o Proven experience of managing a large multi-site logistics operation
o Proven experience of managing process safety (COMAH)
o Sounds transport and logistics knowledge
o Proven leader of others and innovator of processes
o Proven track record of driving continuous operational improvements and efficiencies
o Track record of delivering high level change management
o Full – UK drivers licence

You would be responsible for;

o Leadership and engagement of the operations team within the East Region (10 sites)
o Managing process safety across all sites, devising changes to polices and processes were necessary
o Improving driver performance, cost efficiencies and high standards of customer service
o Ensuring the safety of employees, customers and the wider public by driving HSE compliance
o Accountable for cost and capital budget expenditure within targets
o Ensure effective transport management within the region (including compliance with company and legislative rules in relation to vehicle maintenance and driver management)
o Delivering effective change across the region
