Are you a Health and Safety professional with experience of managing the Health & Safety function within a manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Health & Safety Manager to join a thriving manufacturing company supplying the automotive industry based in Milton Keynes. Salary £40-47k per annum plus excellent benefits working 7.30-4.45 Mon-Thu and 7.30-12.30 on Fridays!!

As Group HSE Manager, this is a standalone role leading on health and safety across 2 sites, preparing HSE strategies, developing and implementing appropriate policies and ensuring adherence. You will outline safe operational procedures identifying all relevant hazards and accurately assess risks conducting risk assessment advising on risk reduction including improvements to PPE.

As the "go to person" for all HSE matters within the company, you will have excellent communication skills, liasing with regulatory authorities, carrying out HSE inductions for new starters and refresher training for all staff, and making changes to working practices to ensure compliance. You will investigate incidents/ accidents maintaining records and producing statistics with recommendation for improvements to prevent reoccurrence.

It is essential you have held a Senior HSE role within a manufacturing company previously with excellent knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001, as well as previous experience in leading external audits. IOSH/ NEBOSH qualification is required along with proven knowledge in management review, COSHH, LOLER, Risk Analysis and Improvement Plans.

You must have the ability to lead and influence change with a high level of analysis and problem solving skills. Any experience of managing two sites within the automotive industry would be advantageous.
