In your new role as an FLT Driver, you will be working within the Waste and Cleaning team and undertake the operation of Forklift Truck driving within a health and safety conscious environment. Your duties will include loading and unloading pallet trailers, loading cardboard and plastic bales onto trailers, and sorting, moving and stackings pallets. Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is in safe working order, perform miscellaneous cleaning duties and provide support to the waste team, whilst wearing PPE and complying with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications:
In order to be successful in this role, you'll need a Counter Balance license and 3 months forklift operative experience is preferred. Communicative English is essential, and you may be required to take an English language assessment. You'll need to have good organisational skills, be detail conscious, work from your own initiative and have excellent time management skills. You must be able to complete appropriate documentation and fall into the required shift pattern as deemed suitable to meet contractual requirements. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test
