Are you looking to take control of operational projects within a dynamic and growing company? As our Flow Manager, you will be working closely with our Head of Operations at our Scanning Centre to ensure that our teams achieve operational excellence, utilising continuous improvement processes and our core values to consistently deliver to the highest standards.
The Flow Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the flow of scripts through the Scanning Centre, monitoring the progress of each SLA at component level, ensuring that the correct volume of scripts for each component is input into the process and ensuring any backlogs are within agreed levels. Achieving high quality standards, maintaining agreed productivity schedules and contributing to process improvement are all key aspects of the role. Your ability to analyse and report on performance data will be crucial to ensure that the team is performing to their highest ability. You will actively drive for positive team morale, while ensuring that productivity and quality levels are maintained. You will also contribute to the planning of staffing levels, plan backlogs, identify priorities and allocate work accordingly.
Having experience in high-volume warehouse and goods in operations and managing costs within budgets, the Flow Manager will have an understanding of large-scale, time-critical, logistically challenging projects (and ideally of process methodologies such as Kanban, Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma), as well as competency in Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook. You will take an analytical, investigative and logical approach in every aspect of your work. You will be responsible for a small team of permanent and temporary workers. You will be monitoring the quality and performance of the team, ensuring the team are fully trained and have a clear understanding of all processes to be carried out. Identifying any issues with understanding or performance of duties within the team and resolving or escalating as appropriate.
