We have an excellent opportunity at Thames Water to join us as a Field Operations Specialist.

What you will be doing

Coordinate complex planned and reactive technical activities to ensure maximum effectiveness and minimal customer impact
Provide technical support to determine solutions to problems and ensure a robust, stable, and efficient network
Provide information on required maintenance and improvement to the Network Strategy function and assist with contingency planning
Support planned investigations to assist “owner” in the risk assessment process
Maintain key material and equipment stocksTravel around the Slough, Wycombe, Aylesbury area, Some extended travel to all of Thames Valley will be required.
We are looking for you to:

Be typically educated to A level or equivalent, or equivalent experience
Have expert knowledge of distribution systems
Have detailed knowledge of DG2 and DG3 measures
Have a sound working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Business Operating plans, quality systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and office softwareWhat’s in it for you?
