An opportunity for a Field Health & Safety Advisor has been newly created within a flourishing and financially stable company in the energy sector. This company has been thriving during the global pandemic this year and has exciting plans for the future.

The role of the Field Health & Safety Advisor will be reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager whilst building excellent day to day working relationships with colleagues in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

* Working with the H&S Manager to develop and manage field-based H&S policies and processes

* Working with the H&S Manager and field team to develop and deliver training

* Bringing a new perspective to the H&S provision, helping to develop a strong H&S culture

* Working with the H&S Manager and the field team to ensure all incidents are correctly reported and investigated, validation and submitting of safety investigations for approval to the H&S Manager, tracking resulting actions and ensuring full conclusion of investigations

* Conducting trend analysis across available data to highlight declining or increasing trends of safety incidents, results of audits, areas for improvement

* Attending external working groups to assist the H&S Manager to ensure you are seen as a leader in the EHS space

Skills and Experience required:

* You will have at least 1 recognised health and safety qualification (i.e. NEBOSH General Certificate)

* You will have proven and credible operational experience from a utilities industry, preferably electricity and gas metering, and strong understanding or experience from a Health and Safety context

* Strong achievement around developing and sustaining an HSE culture

* Demonstrable experience or knowledge of managing and delivering health and safety policies across a business
