Our client has a temporary vacancy with an immediate start for a Health & Safety/Facilities Manager to support them with the re-commissioning of their fully refurbished offices. The role is expected to last at least till May 2022. You will need to have sound experience in health and safety, risk assessments, compliance, as well as facilities management. You will need to have a relevant Health & Safety qualification.
The Role
• To support the business by providing expert and efficient advice and facilities back up
• Conducting regular health and safety reviews ensuring they are fully documented with follow up action plans and evidence of compliance.
• To maintain up to date and accurate records of all contracts pertaining to services provided, including a full audit trail of all purchases/contracts together with competitive quotes and tender results.
• To allocate work to contractors and suppliers based on the best possible deal, having due regard to quality of service
• To proactively seek out opportunities to improve the service provided and take appropriate action as required
Requirements
• Previous experience of facilities management and conducting risk assessments
• Previous experience of advising on Health and Safety matters
• In depth and up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• First class organisational and facilitation skills
• Excellent communication skills
