Broadways & Dysons are looking for a Group Facilities Maintenance Technician to work within a multi-disciplined team and ideally have skills in both domestic and /or industrial building maintenance. Ideally the preferred candidate will have completed an apprenticeship in a construction discipline.

This is a very varied role and will encompass a mix of various building projects/tasks.

Your duties

* Carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs

* Conduct Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM)

* Involvement in building/facility projects

* Identify required spares/parts and record accordingly

* Maintenance of building management systems

* Adhere to health & safety policies

* Any other adhoc duties

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a similar facility maintenance technician role

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience within a busy manufacturing environment

* A relevant qualification such as City & Guilds/HNC or NVQ

* A good understanding of current Health & Safety regulations

* A ‘Can do’ approach to work
