Broadways & Dysons are looking for a Group Facilities Maintenance Technician /Operative to work within a multi-disciplined team and ideally have skills in both domestic and /or industrial building maintenance. Ideally the preferred candidate will have completed an apprenticeship in a construction discipline.

This is a very varied role and will encompass a mix of various building projects/tasks.

Your duties

·Carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs

·Conduct Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM)

·Involvement in building/facility projects

·Identify required spares/parts and record accordingly

·Adhere to health & safety policies

·Any other adhoc duties

The ideal candidate will have:

·Experience in a similar facility maintenance technician role

·Excellent communication skills

·Experience within a busy manufacturing environment

·A relevant qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ

·A good understanding of current Health & Safety regulations

·A ‘Can do’ approach to work

Hours and Pay

39 hours per week Monday 07.30 – 16.45 Monday to Thursday , Friday 07.30 – 12:30.

Overtime and Competitive Salary subject to experience. Candidate must be eligible to work it the UK.
