How can you change it up?
As the Environment and Sustainability Advisor, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties. You will ensure that compliances are met so that all stakeholders are engaging with the ‘Our Planet’ strategy. You will support the Director of Compliance in implementing group-wide environmental policy and strategy. By helping CityFibre to deliver legislative compliance, you will also promote continuous improvement in environmental management.
As a trusted advocate for environmental management across CityFibre, you will support the business to develop and embed Environmental Management Systems. A crucial responsibility that you will have is to locate, analyse, and process data and liaise with 3rd party consultants to ensure compliance with ESOS and SECR Reporting. You will provide specialist coaching, advice, training, and support to drive and inspire managers and staff to promote continuous improvement so that environmental management is embedded within the business.
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for someone who is highly experienced with environmental legislation and ISO 14001 management systems. You will need to have experience in environmental management. It will also be ideal if you have a professional qualification in a related field. You will need the ability to travel for this role, as well as a UK driving license. In addition to this, a successful candidate will have the following:
* Excellent written communication and report writing skills
* Good communication skills so you can challenge and influence others when required
* The ability to work diligently with high attention to detail
* Good organisation and time management skills
* A passion for environmental sustainability
