Engagement Officer
An exciting position has become available for an Engagement Officer to join a friendly team covering both Bedfordshire and Northampton. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week and will earn £23,000-£25,000 per annum. the candidate must hold a full UK Drivers License and have their own vehicle.

Role Requirements
The main objectives of the role will be to engage with referring agencies to source participants; to engage employers, education establishments and other providers to source placements and vacancies; and to support a caseload of participants from induction through to sustained progression.
Successful track record of recruitment and/or sales
Proven track record of exceeding targets
Knowledge of local young people networks
Driving Licence and access to vehicle
Tenacious, not afraid of cold calling, door knocking and knock backs
Extremely enthusiastic and energetic
Personable and able to communicate easily
Self-Motivated and can work on own Initiative

Attention to detail and compliance requirements
Role Responsibilities
Source eligible referrals on to programmes
Source placement opportunities and vacancies, in line with the contracts
Source work placements for participants in line with their individual action plan
Source progressions for participants in line with their individual action plan
Work co-operatively with team colleagues to ensure appropriate case management
Complete all data collection necessary and ensure the IT system relevant to the contract is managed and updated ‘real time’.
Network and engage in outreach activities to promote the provision
Provide 1:1, group work guidance and support to participants
At all times operating within the requirements of the data management and security policies & procedures.
Maintain management information and administration records on employers and participants
Manage a caseload of participants, which includes recording information on progress and monitoring outcomes to ensure progression
Work collaboratively with employer and delivery staff, to develop the provision and support participants to achieve their agreed goals
Share expertise and skills with other Workpays delivery staff to enhance delivery and develop programmes
Undertake training and development, as agreed with the line manager.
Play an active role in developing a positive image of Workpays and representing Workpays as required at meetings.
