Our client is a leading manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a hands-on Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role & Responsibilities:

*To carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvement and modification or upgrade of plant, production, high-speed packaging, PLC's & control systems and site services.
*Working hands-on, leading a team of X3 shift engineers
*Drive forward safe working practices, continuous improvements, influence process change
*Be responsible for coaching & development, staff assessment and appraisals
*Co-ordinate the maintenance activities through workload allocation & PPM management
*Drive team to achieve daily KPi's, adhere to health & safety and quality standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Must be an electrically biased multi-skilled engineer
*Strong knowledge of PLC's and software through interrogation and modification
*Ideally have supervisory/team leader experience, but will consider strong and passionate engineers that are looking to take a step up and influence a team
*Must have served a hands-on time served apprenticeship, ideally in electrical engineering
*Ideally be qualified to ONC / HNC in electrical engineering
*Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene Standards a bonus
*Preferably have worked in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment previously
*Flexible character to working rotating shift patterns

Shifts & Benefits Package:

*Shift:-12 Hour Shifts (5.30pm- 5.30am) – Monday – Thursday OR Friday – Sunday
*Salary:- £45k-£48k + Overtime
*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance, Discounted Products, 22 Days Shift Holidays
