Sales and Distribution Operations Manager

Milton Keynes

£38,000 – £45,000 dependant on experience

Company car and great benefits including but not limited to 25 days holiday, 5% employer contribution to pension, bonus scheme up to 25 days per annum

Great opportunity for an experienced Distribution and Sales Operations Manager to join an award-winning team in Milton Keynes.

You will be responsible for inspiring and leading a small team, to ensure the sales and distribution process is efficient and service level agreements are being met; having customers as your focus and having the vision to plan and deliver a world-class service for them. Your team will be responsible for the goods from the moment they arrive, through to the delivery to the end customer. We are seeking an ambitious, motivated, hardworking individual to innovate and drive continuous improvement within this department. You will also be responsible for managing the 3rd party logistics supplier.

As Distribution and Sales Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

Managing a small team of Sales and Distribution Order Processors
Managing 3rd party logistics supplier and overseeing the UK & Ireland delivery operation
Building relationships with wider teams, including Import/Export department
Reviewing and streamlining current processes, controls and systems
Strategic planning and developing team culture

Ideally, you'll have the following skills and experience:

Focused on process improvement and delivering a world-class service
Previous experience in a similar role
Leadership experience
Strong communication skills
Must be driven by team success and collaboration
