Compliance Manager

A reputable and established UK wide energy from waste company that operates across multiple facilities is seeking to appoint a compliance manager to their growing team. As the Compliance Manager, you will be working with operational site teams to ensure compliance documents are fully maintained and site protocols are followed. Reporting into the Lead Compliance Manager you will carry out staff training and undertake assurance reviews to ensure all aspects of health and safety are being abided by.

This is an exciting time to be joining this company as they are currently developing new plant facilities and aim to meet their carbon pledge by 2030.

The responsibilities of the Compliance Manager will include

* Whilst reporting to the compliance manager you will support the operational site teams by maintaining the companies operational compliance framework.

* Ensure compliance documents are compliant and fully maintained.

* Ensure staff training records are in date.

* Ensure site protocols are followed.

* Undertake assurance reviews to ensure all aspects of health and safety are followed.

* Compile reports and detail outcomes and findings.

* You will be required to travel to multiple sites.

Requirements

* Looking for a methodical individual with strict attention to detail

* Being able to work to tight deadlines

* Experience in writing reports.

* Knowledge of MS Office/software packages

* Experience in working towards ISO accreditations.

* Audit Management and planning experience

* NEBOSH is desirable or an equivalent Health & Safety Certificate.

* A full UK driving license.

* Experience of working in waste management, composting or a heavy processing environment would be desirable.

What this is offering

* A salary of £29,500 – £31,000 + bonus

* A company van + fuel card

* 25 days plus 8 days holiday
