Business Support Manager
location: Milton Keynes (primarily working from home)
Contract length: 4 months
Day rate: 226.00-£340.00p/d (subject to Tax and NI)

1.Design, develop and manage all core processes for financial related activity (accruals, purchase order process, periodic financial management and costing/pricing mechanisms).
2.Create, implement and manage financial controls for operational and capital expenditure across PD&T. Responsible for enhancing and maintaining the financial management skills for cost centre Managers (and other financial activity driven roles) for more effective budget control and forecasting.
3.Develop the PD&T annual business plan (OPEX & CAPEX) in conjunction with all key stakeholders aligned to PD&T strategy, including the adoption of standardised processes. Responsible for total training demand capture pan PD&T.
4.Develop and implement a standardised change management process, facilitating in-year changes in training demand.
5.Design, implement and manage a consistent risk management process (templates for risk registers) for PD&T.
6.Lead a centralised unit responsible for defining and delivering the management, activity and financial reporting requirements of PD&T.
7.Proactively support to Head of PD&T and Head of Training Services in the enhancement of commercial opportunities across the provision of all training services.
8.Be the central point of contact for the relationship between Finance and PD&T to enhance efficiencies in financial management process.
9.Be the centralised point of contact for all "make or buy" decisions in the development of customer driven training interventions. This will include creating core criteria for the business decision making process.
Essential
*Proven successful financial management experience
*Extensive experience of contracting and procurement.
