About the Company
My Client is a growing security services company providing CCTV, Security and FM services to clients across the construction industry and UK infrastructure. We are actively seeking a talented sales professional to develop business across the Southern Region.
You will play a key role within the company delivering future growth through securing new and profitable contracts. With a focus on the Construction and Infrastructure services market, you will deliver proactive sales, relationship building with existing customers, competitive tendering and maximizing reactive opportunities.
Applicants should have prior experience in developing business within the construction industry and UK infrastructure.
The Role
Main Responsibilities:
* Source and develop profitable new business across the Southern Region.
* Communication with existing and potential customers across the Regions.
* Completion of tenders, PQQ’s, RFI’s, etc.
* Targeting clients across the private and public sectors.
* Effective networking with potential customers.
* Timely and accurate completion of quotations and other paperwork.
* Creating and maintaining an effective company sales database.
* Achieving and exceed individual sales targets
Personal Qualities/Skills:
* Previous experience developing business in Construction and Infrastructure Services (not necessarily security)
* A self-starter motivated with the ability to work autonomously
* Strong client engagement skills
* Strong presentation sills
* A competitive nature
Skills and Experience Required: You will already have sales experience, preferably within the Construction Sector, and will have a proven track record of generating revenue through new sales prospects along with relationship account management. You will also:
* Be an active member/participant in industry networking and professional forums.
* Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Have strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
* Be a skilled negotiator with the experience and credibility to operate at senior levels, both internally and externally.
* Have a flexible approach to travel throughout the Southern region.
