Having gone through a sustained period of growth they are on the hunt for a commercially focussed Business Analyst – Bids & Tenders to drive efficiency and process improvement. Description
The key responsibilities of the Business Analyst – Bids & Tenders role will be as follows:
Working with multiple departments including Finance and Procurement on Bids and Tenders
Support internal Product & Ops customers to support key business decisions
Budgeting and Management to deliver cost savings
Completing the Bids and Tender process through Negotiation
Negotiating improved payment terms
Vendor Selection and Management through Analysis
Implementing KPI's to manage and improve system efficiency's
Create weekly/ Monthly operational KPI
Analyse and produce trend analysis on Operational data
Provide Operational measures and Improvements from the data with detailed rational
Generate analysis using sound methodologies as the basis for any recommendations
Complete Bench marking on all Operational Projects
Analyse and produce trend analysis on stock moves and discrepancies in the UK and EU
Conduct and Support ad- hoc analyses as required
Assistance with Operational Task as and when requiredProfile
The ideal candidate for the role of Business Analyst – Bids & Tenders will have:
Be Immediately available or have a relatively short notice period
Previous experience in a similar role dealing with Bids & Tender
Experience and understating of Supply Chains and Operations
Ability to interpret financial data and drive business strategy
Experience in a similar role advantageous
Confident and dynamic to be able to step into the role immediately
Must demonstrate and have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
Able to function in a high pressure, evolving environment
Resourceful in solving customer problems
Strong team orientation
