Systems Engineering Manager
Buckinghamshire (Hybrid flexibility offered)
£70,000 – £85,000+ DOE
(Flexible, hybrid working, 25 days hol (with option to buy/sell) bonus scheme, 8% matched pension, private medical insurance)

We are currently looking to appoint a Systems Engineering Manager for an aerospace defence business based in Buckinghamshire. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with the candidate required onsite at least 3 days per week.

As a Systems Engineering Manager you will be working with the Programme Manager and Systems Design Authority, taking responsibility for the for the engineering planning activities within multiple high value, high risk and technically complex programmes.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Providing effective, motivational leadership to the broader engineering team
* Leading the engineering planning at a strategic level and working closely with the Programme Manager to define, manage scope and provide progress reports for key projects.
* Applicants must be confident in delivering customer facing meetings and be able to develop key relationships with stakeholders.
* Providing effective mentorship, development and support to assigned engineers

Candidates must be able to meet the requirements to obtain SC clearance and have the right to work in the UK.

Candidates will have experience in Project Management toolsets, such Microsoft Project and be able to deliver competent technical reports as required
