About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Slough, Berkshire. The hospital has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join our driven theatre team on a permanent basis. The service is ideally situated near to Slough and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join them. This vibrant state-of-the-art private hospital offers a range of treatments supported by advanced imaging and diagnostic technology. Duties and responsibilities
You will be working within the theatre team and will be responsible for:
Assessing patients health and well being across a complex caseload
Assist in the delivery of person centred care to meet patients needs
Preparation of recovery bays
Caring for patients after their surgery
Provide and receive complex and sensitive information
Working within a fast paced department
Actively promote best practice
Who we're looking for
Be NMC/ HCPC registered – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A minimum of 2 years recovery experience in the UK
ALS and Airway Maintenance certificates desirable
Enthusiastic team player
