Could you be our client’s next Superintendent Pharmacist? This Buckinghamshire-based distance-selling pharmacy offers a medicine free home delivery service for patients who have their stoma or continence supplies delivered by SecuriCare. They are looking for an experienced individual to join their professional and friendly pharmacy team.

Full Time, Permanent Role

40 Hours a Week (08:30-17:00, Mon-Fri)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, driven and ‘hands-on’ individual to take on an essential  Superintendent Pharmacist role within our client’s dynamic pharmacy team.

As the Superintendent Pharmacist, you will demonstrate a ‘hands-on’ approach to your work, focusing on the customers just as much as your colleagues.

You will have the opportunity to:

*    Take ownership of the pharmacy demonstrating your ‘can-do’ attitude.
*    Use your leadership skills to manage and support the team.
*    Deliver services with the right attitude to maintain the client’s excellent customer experience reputation.
*    Plan and review your own workload with lots of initiative and self-motivation.
*    Review and maintain SOPs, ensuring all staff are trained to observe legal/professional requirements.
*    Ensure compliance with all professional standards in pharmacy.
*    Dispense prescription medicines to the public, following prescriptions issued by an authorised medical practitioner.
*    Support and cover for the pharmacist when needed.
*    Adhere to all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

The Ideal Candidate

To be eligible for this rewarding Superintendent Pharmacist role, you should have the following skills/qualifications:

*    You must be a UK-registered pharmacist with a valid GPhC number (with at least 3 year’s post registration experience).
*    You must be accredited to provide essential, advanced and enhanced services.
*    You must be an excellent team player.
*    You must be a professional and ethical worker who prioritises customer care above all else.
*    You must be an excellent communicator, confident at networking with patients.
*    You must have community pharmacy experience.
*    You should be confident at using pharmacy systems.
*    You should have experience of postal order/online pharmacy.
