Amazing and unique full time nursing opportunity in a specialist Neurological nursing home in Milton Keynes, paying up to £19 per hour, Days & Nights available, Good CQC report

An honest and genuinely caring nurse is required to work within a purpose built, modern care home with nursing in Milton Keynes. My client has a proven track record of providing excellent neurological care & rehabilitation to their residents. This is reflected in the 'GOOD' CQC report from this year.

You will be putting together treatment plans, overseeing a team of health care assistants and providing excellent care. The successful nurse will have fantastic leadership skills as well as be able to demonstrate and practise excellent clinical skills.

Residents have complex neurological conditions with mixed health conditions (renal issues, diabetes, COPD etc). There is significant variability in the presentation of residents and this leads to the need to manage unpredictability on a daily basis. Mild, moderate and severe cognitive impairments are apparent, leading to variable impairments of awareness of risks and care needs. Staff will require acute awareness of insight and awareness of the mixed presentation of residents to anticipate the level of support in any given area but the level the of impairment in independence, functional ability and self-determination is moderate to severe.
