Salary/ Hourly rate: £11.36ph to £12.76ph dependant on experience and day/night shifts & day of week.

Each of the homes has been designed with the day-to-day wellbeing and comfort of residents in mind.

THE ROLE

We are seeking dynamic and eager individuals to work as Senior Care Assistants at our clients Registered Home in Burnham. You will need to be considerate, adaptable and resilient where no two days will be the same.

The ability to work on a rota basis will be essential as the role will include evening and weekend work. All shifts will be agreed in advance with the Line Manager.

You will have some past skills and experience in a care home/residential setting, ideally with some experience as a senior or a Carer with substantial skills and experience being a “go to” person when on shift.

Senior carers are the leaders on the floor who supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents. They will lead on the responsibility of residents individual care documentation ensuring a person centred approach, providing effective leadership for care staff through supervision, support and mentoring in all aspects of care.  They will have responsibility for the administration of medication and take the lead in other aspects of care. All Seniors need a wealth of experience and knowledge and as a valued member of the team will be provided with training and support to enable them to carry out their roles, efficiently and effectively.
