Laboratory Section Supervisor – Milton Keynes – FTC – £32k

My client based in Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced Laboratory Section Supervisor to work in a state of the art diagnostics laboratory to support a COVID-19 related project. As well as playing a critical role in the fight against COVID-19 and the return to a more normal way of life the successful candidate will gain invaluable exposure to some of the country’s most highly skilled individuals in the scientific community.

The Laboratory Section Supervisor will be responsible for:

·Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the laboratories policies

·Training up new staff members

·Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed correctly

·Supporting the Section Manager and trouble shooting any technical issues

The Section Supervisor will have the following experience:

·BSc Honours degree in Biomedical Science (or similar)

·Experience of supervising staff in a laboratory setting

·Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety regulations

·Experience of maintaining document and procedures within ISO standards

·Excellent communication and team-working skills

·Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
