Lab Supervisor

A laboratory based in the Milton Keynes area is seeking a Lab Supervisor, paying up to £35,000, on a contract basis till September 2021 to join a high-profile project. This will be a 24 hour role and be working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 3 days off. You will be working night shifts one week then day shifts the next and a constant rotational basis.

The post holder holder will be responsible for and to oversee the day to day operations of the lab. You will be there to train and manage the laboratory staff; updating compliance, creating and reviewing technical documentation; as well as overseeing the health and safety of the lab. You will assistant with troubleshooting and the maintenance of all biological processes.

This role will suit an enthusiastic candidate who is a real team player. You will already demonstrate people management experience as well as molecular biology methods, with a degree in biological science or similar. Experience working with biological processes and technical documentation. You will enjoy being the go-to person for the team and liaising with other line managers within in the lab complex.
