A number of exciting opportunities have been created by our client, who is launching a new service in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury  supporting homeless people.

If you are an experienced support worker who has an interest in supporting homeless people and are used to working in a varied and demanding environment we would encourage you to apply.

Our Client is a well-known Supported Housing Association are seeking candidates with experience of supporting homeless people. However, people who can demonstrate that they are adaptive, reliable, passionate about supporting people and wish a rewarding career will be considered.

Initially for a Floating Service to cover shifts working with entrenched Rough Sleepers, the role will be to identify and support rough sleepers in targeted locations around East Sussex, signposting them to services and helping them into accommodation. If you want to help people at their most vulnerable and learn more about the best ways to work with the homeless this is the perfect opportunity to do it.

These units are high volume so is an exciting but challenging role. If you have some paid or unpaid homeless experience and are keen to get stuck in, please contact us.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 years paid experience of working in a similar setting, and be available for day, weekend and night shifts.

All candidates will be required to provide 3 years’ worth of professional references and undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Location: Milton Keynes & Aylesbury 

Pay rate: £9 – £16 phr PAYE

Contract: Temporary – ongoing
