You will work 37.5 a week at Chadwick Lodge, a medium and low secure and locked service providing specialist treatment programmes for service users who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and have a history of offending behaviour.
As a Charge Nurse, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care for people with mental health conditions. You will design and deliver supervision and training to junior members of the team.
With previous experience from the NHS or private sector, you will be responsible for the clinical environment and managing the clinical services throughout the wards and units.

What you will be doing:
* To be accountable for the safe and effective clinical and operational functioning of a defined unit.
* Provide credible clinical leadership to a defined staff group
* Act in a professional role manner clinical leader, a resource for staff, and supporting, guiding and supervising staff as required.
* Develop and create an environment that supports competent ethical nursing care Integrates team members with clear information and creates opportunities to influence work objectives, planning and organisation
* Develop and implement strategies to facilitate effective communication pathways
You will need:
* Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD
* Professional training in a related environment
* Recognised Mentorship certification
* NVQ Assessor Qualification
* Values-based practice
* Leadership skills
* Administrative, planning and organisational skills
* Knowledge of the organizational policies and procedures
* Report writing
* 5 years' experience
