Our client in the Newport Pagnell area is a beautiful 20 bedded Residential Home that is part of small, family run organisation and promotes the highest standards of care. They now have an exciting opportunity for Care Assistants to join their passionate team of Healthcare Assistants and Seniors. The home invests heavily in staffing and emphasis is driven towards person-centred approaches. They value a homely and welcoming environment alongside excellent care standards which enables a fantastic standard of care provision and quality of life.

We are looking for Care Assistants who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of other Carers and Senior Carers to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the home.

Training and support will be provided to care assistants who have little or no previous experience within a care home to enable them to thrive and progress in their careers.

Key details:

These are full time, permanent Care Assistant roles and both Days and Nights are available. Contracts are for 37.5 hours per week paying £8.72-9.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The shifts are as follow:

Days: 6:30am-2:30pm; 1:30pm-9:30pm Can be combined for a long day if preferred)

Nights: 9:30pm-6:30am

Main duties for care assistants are as follows:

Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing

Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling

Assisting with meal times and feeding

Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant

Liaise with visiting family and friends

Desirable:

Care assistants with previous experience within a care home and NVQ's within health and social care.
