Purpose of Role:

Manages the provision of a technical pharmacy service, manages staff, resources, activity and information, may develop specialist technical services within the pharmacy department, provides specialist pharmacy services in hospital or primary care setting in e.g. production, critical care or oncology clinical pharmacy, medicines information or medicines management; undertakes risk management and ensures compliance with medicines legislation, undertakes teaching, supervision of less experienced pharmacists, technicians, students

Training & Qualifications required

* Professional knowledge acquired through vocational master’s degree in pharmacy (4years) plus 1-year pre-registration training and experience

* Registered with the GPHC

* Valid DBS (not essential as we can provide)

* All practical and Mandatory training

* Updated Bloods and Serology reports
