Pertemps Medical are urgently looking to speak with Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologists to work within a renowned Adults Mental Health Therapy Service based in Oxford, Aylesbury   

This role offers an immediate start with the ideal candidate being able to work full time to cover maternity (min 12months).

The successful candidate will be working within a close knit Adults therapy team providing Psychological Therapies to inpatients (secondary care) whom suffer from moderate to severe psychological problems.

on an ongoing basis and this service are able to offer flexible working I.E you can pick your working days weeks in advance. Weekend work is also an option. ADOS clinicians are also paired with a speech and language therapist -with one observing the ADOS and the other administering; each individual within the pair would observe 2 and administer 2. The ideal candidate would also be required to write up reports on the observed ADOS appointments.

Person Specification

Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling or Forensic Psychology (or overseas equivalent)
HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
Experience working in secondary adult mental health service
Previous NHS experience
Currently working at Band 7 – desired
This role involves

Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy
Working autonomously within professional guidelines
