Athonas healthcare division is recruiting for a HCPC registered Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist.

Main task and responsibilities:

To apply the neurobehavioural approach to brain injury, demonstrating knowledge of current research findings, and best practice in the field.
To manage and prioritise a caseload of service users with complex mental/physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour.
To use evidence-based practice, service user centred principles and clinical reasoning to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intervention.
To undertake comprehensive assessments, considering environment, context and future plans, of service users in order to formulate appropriate: rehabilitation goals, care plans, communication therapy programmes, referrals.

Full time hours.
