Hunter AHP Resourcing have an exciting locum opportunity for hospital experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a large NHS hospital service in Milton Keynes.
Our client is currently seeking a Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician to join their hospital team on an immediate basis, working ideally 5 days per week, for at least 5 or 6 months to cover a long term vacancy.
The service require a medicines management technician, so you must have prior hospital ward based working experience. This role will be predominantly ward based, covering the medicines reconciliation, and assisting the Pharmacists with discharge, with very little dispensary work involved.
This locum role is due to start immediately, with a working pattern of Monday – Friday, 5 days per week, 9am – 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
The contract length of this role will be for at least 5/6 months, with a high likelihood for this to extend. There may possibly be the option to take on a permanent position at the end of the contract here for the right applicant, so long term working is offered here!
The service is based in Milton Keynes – there is very affordable accommodation available on site and free parking is offered here too!
Hospital experience is a necessity for this position.

– £21 – £26 per hour

– Duration: 5/6 months – possibility to take a permanent contract at end of role
– 5 days per week, no weekend working available. Possibility that the service may consider part time working. 9am – 5.30pm.
