Web Insight Analyst

Our client based in Central Milton Keyes is looking for a Web Insight Analyst to take responsibility for areas of web analytics and help drive organic traffic through on-page search engine optimisation. This role will appeal to you if you are a sharp, detail-orientated person with a passion for all things web.

Your responsibilities as a Web Insight Analyst will include but are not limited to:

Extracting data from multiple sources.
Transforming raw data into actionable business insights and dashboards.
Delivering daily and weekly performance updates as well as working on adhoc data.
Making SEO changes to improve organic traffic in all key regions.
Researching SEO keywords to use throughout the company website.
Editing website content, meta data, alt tags, and updating internal links for maximum search engine rankings.
Working closely with third party development agency to fix any technical SEO errors.
Measuring and develop web-based SEO reporting dashboards, using Data Studio.
Supporting the web team and or marketing team with CMS updates as required.
Assisting with monthly user acceptance testing and new website releases.
Maintaining website search results to provide the correct product results across key regions.
Keep up to date with industry news and trends.

To be a successful Web Insight Analyst you must have:

Experience and an interest in data analysis, reporting and SEO.
Up to date knowledge with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
French or German language skills; an advantage but not essential.
Familiar with CMS (Optimizely), Google Analytics, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Naturally inquisitive towards in-depth research and target driven.
Communication skills, using data to influence outcomes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, coupled with the proven ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
Resilience – operating under pressure and to tight deadlines.
High integrity, delivering what is promised.
Commercially focused.
