You'll provide ‘hands-on’ support to the Head of Marketing on the development of general maintenance brands in the UK TRADE CHANNEL by: 

Providing Trade related marketing that drives awareness and product trial through retail and wholesale channels including; Advertising, Promotions, Events, Sampling, Sponsorship, PR, Online content & Literature.
Sourcing brand partners (where there is potential for ‘brand synergy’) and managing 3rd party relationships with providers (with complimentary values) The successful Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of the Trade Marketing Plan across the marketing mix, with key customers in priority channels to achieve Sales and EBITDA goals through the:

Development and implementation of customer plans and proposals in collaboration with Key Account Managers and the Head of Marketing.
Delivery of ‘creative related activities’ in accordance with brand guidelines and agreed category management approach. He/She must ensure that all tactical trade marketing activities are delivered on time and against agreed budget. The ideal candidate will have;

Trade Product/Industry experience, such as a brand used by a Trades person or working for a company that sell to the Trade (Automotive or Industry is preferrable)
Sales Team Collaboration – someone used to working in conjunction with the sales team to execute campaigns, promotions and channel plans
They need to have a joined up approach and not consider Marketing and Sales as 2 separate teams
They should be prepared to get stuck in and get their hands dirty
Strategic thinker – candidates need to consider the bigger picture and the agreed strategy in everything that we do
Our strategy is in place, so they wouldn’t be forming this but it is important they always consider this for any activation Start: ASAP
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Hours: Mon to Fri Full Time
Salary £45,000 to £48,000
