Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Social Media and Events Manager. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate marketing experience, project management experience and events co-ordination.

You will be coordinating and creating the social media calendar for the business, in addition to developing content plans in line with events calendar. The role will include scheduling and monitoring success of social media marketing strategy using Hubspot analytics and Planoly.

Social Media

Lead on design and distribution of events marketing materials (online and offline).

Content creation (written and imagery) – write blog posts and social media copy, create various graphics using Shutterstock editor.

Email marketing – writing and scheduling of marketing emails using Hubspot.

Leading on the coordination of a number of events

Coordination and event management of programmes

Develop event plans to ensure events fit objectives and are fulfilled to a high standard. Taking a proactive role in the management of organising these events to tight deadlines, project managing from conception through to completion, proposing new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process, and to schedule the annual calendar of events keeping it up to date.

Manage a budget, delegate lists and ensure high profile speakers’ and entrepreneurs needs are met, resolving any queries efficiently.

Providing liaison for event bookings, by communicating event information such as joining instructions and responding to enquiries where necessary.

Attendance on these events on the day, having a presence and being a key point of contact for all delegates including suppliers and guests, leading up to, during and after each event.

Use Social Media to present live event action.

Measure event outputs and impact of events to assist with reporting on the success of events and future planning.

Website

Responsible for maintaining up-to-date web content for events and networking pages, ensuring these are updated in a timely manner.

Managing the Zoom accounts, setting up meetings/webinars and managing online events. Manage polling technology for use during virtual events.

Responsible for editing video content and uploading to Streaming Server and onto website.

Being the digital super user for the team.
